Pursuant to Section 744.1085, F.S., each professional guardian shall be required to demonstrate competency to act as a professional guardian by taking an examination approved by the Department of Elder Affairs.

 

To be eligible to take the Florida Public and Professional Guardians Examination, prospective examinees must have successfully completed the 40-Hour Florida Public and Professional Guardians Training Program. The Florida Public and Professional Guardians Examination contains multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. Examinees have a total of 2 hours to answer 100 questions and are strongly encouraged to carefully read all questions and answer choices before responding.
